As I read it, the sun is setting (in an hour or so) in NY on a day that was pure joy - sunshine, hot enough to strip to a camisole and sit outside.<br /><br />I am ready to burst into bloom - and yet, something stops me. Gardeners know that these early spring "heat waves" can fool us - there is still a chance of frost. My friend in Minnesota tells me that, after a warm spell, it's 20 degrees again.<br /><br />This is a season of shifting and moving, of waking up, stretching our sleepy creative muscles and slowly, carefully moving into action.<br /><br />Thank you for this lovely reminder that I don't have to hurry the spring - or the summer.
